So, Jay-Z and Beyonce reportedly ushered their new child, Blue Ivy Carter, into the world in lavish fashion by allegedly renting out an entire wing of Lennox Hill Hospital for 1.3M. 

I’m not mad. I’m not hatin’.

Reports of other visitors being unable to access the neonatal intensive care unit have surfaced. Yes, I said neonatal intensive care.

I’m not mad. I’m not hatin’.

After all, this is capitalism. Or, maybe as Jigga would say “the murder capital, where we murder for capital.” Or … I guess … where we deliver life … for … capital? Either way, the point is: no one can be mad about this. We’ve done this to ourselves. We’ve built a society based on money. Money over morality, friendship, humility, humanity, and of course, money over bitches. 

So to the hospital visitors hating on Jay and Bey, I must refer you to another 1/2 bar of classic Hov’: “Get your weight up, not your hate up.”

Ok, ok, ok - I’ll be serious.

Capitalism is a disease, the only problem is that unlike other diseases, the more inflicted with it you are - the better it feels. When will we realize that valuing money over humanity is actually quite ridiculous? My guess? When Jay-Z and Beyonce rent out the entire East Coast to take young Blue Ivy sight-seeing.
